"Absolutely marvellous!
(...) a pearl of a concert with Marita Røstad. Vocalist, pianist and composer Marita Røstad has an incredibly beautiful voice. We could just lean back to enjoy the vocals and the verbal message. The remarkable singer truly charmed the audience ... and impressed greatly."
(Aura Avis)

"The jazzqueen of the night-
Mark the name of this artist- Marita Røstad. She showed her excellent talent at her double releaseparty in Trondheim. Marita Røstad's jazz is not only jazz. It is something more- something heavier and rocklike. Heavy, pounding rhythms hits the audience as a punch in the face, and at the bottom; the bass vibrating like the heartbeat of the music. Throughout the whole concert sounds Marita Røstad's voice, cool and clear one moment, warm and sensual the next. In one of the songs she sings "Love me and know my name". We consider this a prophety of the future for this promising jazzartist."
(Oppland Arbeiderblad)

"She is a true jazztalent, and there is no doubt that the audience liked what they heard from the young composer and her band. She shows musical versatility, and possesses a wide vocal spectrum in addition to being a splended pianist and composer."
(Hamar Arbeiderblad)

"Made the greatest impression: Marita Røstad, accompanied by -among others-guitarist Håvard Stubø, revealed herself as a singer and composer of great class.

"With the vocal phantom and composer Marita Røstad in front, this is a band with spirit and vocal jazz in a new way."

"Marita Røstad appears as a singer and composer with many talents. She makes music in the crossroads of jazz and pop and clearly possesses a strong sense of good melodies. Besides this, the songs have a scope that is promising, from singer/songwriter-like tunes to sequences of modern, improvised jazz. Besides Marita Røstad, the band concists of four excellent musicians from the Conservatory of Jazz in Trondheim, and especially Stian Omenås (trumpet) adds character to the music with several delicate soli."
(Adresseavisen)

"The young singer and pianist Marita Røstad is the undisputed frontfigure and composer in this band. Jazzvocalists are popular as never before, but while Norah Jones and Diana Krall move towards smoother versions of standard jazz, this is music with more character, reminding of personalities like Joni Mitchell."
(Program Narvik Jazzklubb)

"I melted completely already after the first song. Rostad's warm, fresh velvet voice is opium for people who has worked a little too much. We let ourselves be blown away in a dream world, in the musical landscape, and we are seduced to places we never have been before. So smooth and well timed that it causes chills down the spine. The musicians play together in a way that is simply impressive."
